Summer 2015 Candidates - Important Information
Due to the discontinuation of summer commencement, students graduating in Summer 2015 are invited to participate in the Fall 2015 Commencement exercises. Fall Commencement is scheduled to take place in December 2015 at McCamish Pavilion.
Spring 2015 Participation
Summer 2015 graduates with two classes or less remaining and in good academic standing will have the option to apply for an early walk in Spring 2015. Read the complete policy and GPA requirements here. Students may request an early walk by completing the spring participation request form and turning it into the Registrar's Office by Wednesday, March 11. Late submissions will not be accepted.
If approved, students will receive a confirmation email and a link to RSVP to the ceremony to request Commencement tickets. Approved early walkers must complete the RSVP link to receive guest tickets and be added to the ceremony. Early walkers will have their name called at the ceremony but will not be listed in the program or receive honor cords.
Summer Commencement Registration
During the summer semester, graduating students will be asked to register an email address to receive information for fall Commencement. This is not an RSVP, merely an indication of interest in attending the ceremony. Summer students will be able to submit a personal email address to ensure all fall communications are received after graduation; an RSVP is still required. Fall 2015 Commencement
Fall 2015 Commencement is scheduled to take place in December at McCamish Pavilion. Official ceremony times will be posted the first week of September. The bachelor's ceremony will be a ticketed event. Information on ticket numbers will be published the first week of September.
